What is the basic introduction to car tire knowledge?
First, tire classification: tires can be divided into radial tires and bias tires. Radial tires are currently the most widely used tires, its carcass structure is a radial arrangement of steel cord, with better strength and stability. Bias tire is an early type of tire, its carcass structure is diagonally arranged steel cord, relatively speaking, the strength and stability is poor.
Second, the pattern classification: tire pattern is divided into strip pattern, horizontal pattern tires, mixed pattern tires, cross-country pattern tires and so on. Stripe pattern is suitable for dry road surface, transverse pattern tires are suitable for slippery road surface, mixed pattern tires are suitable for a variety of road conditions, off-road pattern tires are suitable for complex road surface.
Third, the type of classification: tires according to the vehicle type classification, can be divided into eight kinds. Car tires (PC), light truck tires (LT), truck and bus tires (TB), agricultural tires (AG), construction vehicle tires (OTR), industrial vehicle tires (ID), aircraft tires (AC) and motorcycle tires (MC).
Fourth, size classification: the size of the tire is divided into full-size spare tire and non-full-size spare tire. The full-size spare tire has the exact same specification size as the other four tires of the original vehicle, and can replace any one of the tires that are temporarily or no longer usable. Non-full-size spare tire diameter and width are slightly smaller than the other 4 tires, can only be used as a temporary alternative, the maximum speed can not exceed 80km/h.
Fifth, pressure classification: zero-pressure tires are a special type of tire, also known as safety tires or explosion-proof tires. Compared with ordinary tires, zero-pressure tires will not leak or leak very slowly after being punctured, and can maintain the driving profile, and the bead can always be fixed on the rim, thus ensuring that the car can be a long time or a temporary stable driving to the repair station. As a result, cars equipped with these tires no longer need to carry a spare tire, thus hiding the spare tire invisibly in another way on all four tires.
